Green it is

Green is the color of 2013. Specifically pantone green. For this compilation that I made, it's not just the specific color, it's also the shades of green. I think that the green color will be very pleasing to the fashion world. Moving on, as you can see above I've compiled 6 different photos. Let's start with the tops. First, camo (Topman) is still in since it's green and not just because of the color, the print itself brings more style to the one wearing it. Because it's not just any military shirt it can be incorporated to fashion world too. Next is the button down polo shirt with metal sleeve (Korean brand from yesstyle). I'm really fascinated with this type of button down. It's not just a usual button down's that's why I chose it to be part of this. Of course, sunglasses are still one of the accessories to wear. So on the photo, I chose a ray-ban icon round wire eyeglasses. Next will be outerwear, I'm knda into racer jacket now and I saw this cool looking one from Jack Threads which most prolly should be part of this blog post. It just looks good. Next, for the pants... a green chinos from Bonobos. Yes, chinos are still in. Note that for the pants, you can go for colored pants too even if it's not the chinos type. And lastly, a good quality and stylish sneakers from Nike. Hope I brought justice to this look. Thanks for reading.

Fashion Nerd

A few told me that I'm becoming a fashion nerd. Just like any nerd, an overly obsessive but in terms of fashion, but I think I'm just passionate about wearing who I think represents myself and wearing to inspire people and hopefully could make a difference out of this. So through my thinking and because of my new favorite color, I came up to an outfit which I can proudly call the... Fashion Nerd.

It's obvious that my new favorite color is burgundy. But I'll talk more about burgundy on my next blog post. Promise! 'cause, this is something else. It's me and my experimenting mind. And oh, I think I want to change my blog name into THE PAULO LABORATORY or THE PAULO LAB. (Readers, tweet it to me @thepaulodiaries if you agree or not. Thanks for the cooperation).

So the base color is burgundy. That's why the pants (H&M) is in that color. Then, I want it simple but turning it into something worth it. So that's the reason for a simple roll up white shirt with pocket (TOPMAN). Now, for the worth it part...for the foot wear, distressed combat boots (JEFFREY CAMBELL). I think they make good combat shoes. Then, for accessorizing: as you can see the burgundy bandana is folded in that way because that will be placed on your head particularly on your forehead (that's for the rugged look part). Next, you have to put eyeglasses to achieve the "Nerd" thingy. I chose a two of vintage clubmaster eyeglasses from RAY BAN. Just so you know guys, it's their 75th Birthday so let's greet them a "HAPPY AND BLESSED BRITHDAY RAY BAN!" Indeed, 75 years of good service. And 75 years of bringing out the best in you. So NEVER HIDE your real you. :D
Okay back to the topic, multi strand leather bracelet. You can get them from any accessory store but I suggest SM ACCESSORIES, they have a lot and good looking stuffs. But this next accessory is not from SM, instead from CRAVEMORE, it's remarkably right to include it to this outfit because it's really worth to put on. It's unique, hip and stylish. And lastly, because I love THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (A hit epic series) so much. I wanted the whole outfit to have any of those Salvatore Ring (I don't know where to buy one, been wanting this since I saw those rings). It's vintage. Everyone loves vintage!

So that's it. I think this is by far the most promotional-oriented blog post. Still, no worries, because combining them together looks really worth it. I hope you like it guys. Feel free to send me photos of yourself wearing this. Don't forget, you can improve this if you want.

The Country Club Man

I was looking over Aldo shoes' website and found some. At first I thought, I'll be making a solo blog post about them but then an idea popped out my mind. Which is below. But wait, let me just say something about Aldo. I love their shoes very stylish and comfortable.

Polo Shirt (Giordano), Off-white Pants (Topman), Aviator eyeglasses (Ray ban), Brown leather watch (Timetech), Brown leather belt (ThisNext), Shoes: Puller, Nehlsen and Durupan (Aldo)

Let me start with the shoes, since I did start at the bottom when compiling this. Those are Puller, Nehlsen and Durupan. All good-looking huh?! But I have dibs on the middle shoes. Want it badly. :D So, it's kind of hard to start styling at the bottom because usually, the bottom comes last aside from accessorizing. But good thing, my playful mind did not play hard on me. Here's the idea I got. The Country Club Man. As we all know, most people who are a club member wears the same but you can standout if you know how to suit yourself up with a proper attire. I chose Giordano Polo Shirt because it's cheaper than usual polo shirt and also a good quality. Giordano is a good brand, I must say. Then of course, pairing it with an off-white skinny pants will do it perfectly. That one is from Topman as usual. Now, this is the part where you will stand out. Tuck your polo shirt in your pants and wear a brown leather belt, found it at ThisNext. Then accessorize yourself with a brown leather gold plate watch from Timetech and lastly the perfect eyeglasses which undoubtedly Ray ban leather Clubmaster. Again, I have dibs on that ray ban. That's all. Till next time.
