So Close Yet So Far
Semi-formals/Smart Casual. Most are having problem in terms of wearing semi-formal/smart casual. And I almost had one too. Luckily, I found these clothes on my rack and it's a good thing that I made it happen. I mean, the end product looks great and looks semi-formal/smart casual indeed.
I had to wear one because I attended a seminar about "The Role of Multimedia in Marketing." And I can proudly say that this is one of the best seminars I had. The speakers (Ms. Charie Villa, Ms. Mylene Abiva & Ms. Lexi Shculze) are not boring. They are all with humor and you can learn a lot from them. But this post is not about it I'm just saying.
Shirt from Walmart (Faded Glory). I know there are a lot of good clothes there because that's what most people in US are telling. They are not pricey but still with style.

Read All About It
Actually, I took this outfit post like 2 months ago. But still looks good. I have this as my reserve since I haven't gone out in a while. If you are running a fashion blog I think it's good to have a reserve. But know that they should be not out of fashion when you are going to post it. Good thing this reserve is my smart casual look. And I think smart casuals' are the ones that can go by for ages. So I have to go now. Gonna watch Breaking Dawn in a while. :D Be safe LOVELYS! :D
I am Paulo and I'm kind of LSS with Read All About it.

I'll save you in a heartbeat (Thesis Defense)
This is a late outfit posts because the whole thing happened last week. It was my thesis defense day. A big day for us graduating students. I will not elaborate what it is about because this is an outfit posts. By merely looking at the pictures below, it's obvious that we were asked to wear corporate attire. So I came up with that look. I went over a pink long sleeved button-down polo from PaulSmith. It's a body fit, mind you. Then I paired it with a violet necktie. Then midnight blue slacks with some detailed stripes from MainStreet. For the shoes, I chose my Aldo shoes. Aldo is one of those footwear brands that I love because it's very comfortable on your feet. Lastly, accessories... vintage leather watch from MSense and my rosary bracelet.
I am PAULO and I will really save you in a HEARTBEAT.

Caught in the Balance
It's been weeks of wearing smart casual for me since that's a must for conducting interviews for our thesis. And I'm getting the hang of it. By the way, that's not only the use of smart-casual looks, you can use them in other events as well.
So here's an idea for your smart casual get-up. Enjoy!
Button down Polo (H&M), Black Pants (Maldita Man), Feather necklace (CraveMore), Shoes (Converse)
If you would be asking, yes that's my favorite necklace from CraveMore. And they have new collections that are must buy.
For Maldita Man, it's good local brand as well where you can find lots of smart casual clothes. Better check them out guys.
For Converse and H&M, it's already in the nature that they are one of the best brands. So there's no reason for you guys not to check them.
