I'll save you in a heartbeat (Thesis Defense)

This is a late outfit posts because the whole thing happened last week. It was my thesis defense day. A big day for us graduating students. I will not elaborate what it is about because this is an outfit posts. By merely looking at the pictures below, it's obvious that we were asked to wear corporate attire. So I came up with that look. I went over a pink long sleeved button-down polo from PaulSmith. It's a body fit, mind you. Then I paired it with a violet necktie. Then midnight blue slacks with some detailed stripes from MainStreet. For the shoes, I chose my Aldo shoes. Aldo is one of those footwear brands that I love because it's very comfortable on your feet. Lastly, accessories... vintage leather watch from MSense and my rosary bracelet.

Fifth Code

First of all, join me in greeting Fifth Code for their 2nd Anniversary. Have a good one! Fifth code is a fashion line that creates ready-made blazers which they designed themselves. They also go for custom-made. Their collection are not just those typical kind of thing, they are unique, great, classy and very stylish. So if you would want something that will make you stand out this is the one for you. Not only that, the blazers they sell can go for casual, semi-formal or formal...It's versatile. Great huh?!

The idea of this thing came from a teenager named Lorenz Namalata. I think he is a very talented lad. Cheers to him.

OXYGENtm

I know. I know. It's been a while since I made an actual blog post featuring stuffs. It's our Finals week that's why. But still, I made time to make one. So for my comeback, a great local brand is definitely worth it to make a post about.

Talking about youth fashion regarding a local brand from the Philippines, I can say that OxygenTM is one of those that showcases the most followed fashion trends from UKFashion or NYFashion. Their collections are full of youth vibe and it makes you feel free. It shows who you really are. They are one of those brands that you get comfortable with and you get to be loyal with. Seeing their collection will make you drool if that's the right word. For a very reasonable price you get to be hip, fresh and young. Lastly, their clothes can be lined up or can compete to those other imports. That's a mind you.

So below are the campaign posters for Oxygen. If you've been wanting for more you can check out their sites posted after the photos. Enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed it. One thing is for sure. I want to be a brand ambassador of Oxygen if given a chance.

Plain to Something

Here I go again, doing some experimentation to this shirt that I bought from Tee Culture x SM Youth. It's just a simple gradient colored round neck shirt and they have other different colors aside from what you will see below. So this time, I tried making this simple shirt into something else like having the ends of the shirt curl up to make it more trendy.

What you will need are:
1.) T-shirt
2.) Scissors
3.) Clips

Procedure:
For the sleeves, clip the end of the sleeve tightly so that it won't separate once you are cutting it and a straight cut will be considered. Measure how much part you want to remove. After cutting the edges of both sleeves. Stretch them so that the curl-up drama will be achieved.
Do the same thing on the bottom end of the shirt.
Then for the neck park, you may cut it also buy following the round-neck part. Once cut, stretch it as well.
Voila, a new shirt with style.

Keep reading and visiting my blog to watch out for how I will wear this. Thanks!

Across the Universe

If you've been following me on my Twitter, I assume that you saw my post that I am modernizing a Clark Kent look. So here it is, as promised. I got this idea because of Bench Universe. As we all know, Clark Kent or Superman went across the universe and came to Earth. He stayed here and fought for our Earth. But aside from being a superhero, he is a journalist. And the way he wear the thought of it is being the Nerdy Dapper. And that's why I went to that look which I modernized a bit.

Button Down Polo (BenchTM), Suit (Tailored), Bowtie Necklace (Self-made), Eyeglasses (Tomato)

If you are wondering where I got that necklace. I made it. I'm not sure with the brand of that bow-tie because I just saw it from my bag of bowties and suspenders. Then I thought, instead of wearing the bowtie, maybe I can make it as another form of accessory. So, I saw this black necklace of mine. Took out its original pendant. Then for the bowtie part, I ripped of the neck-ring, But I can still attach it though. And voila, hook it together and you'll have that look. :D

The Original Skin

Since, I received an email to my both mails which I think they are reading my blog, I will try my best to make a feature out of it. They call themselves The Original Skin, they say they are original bold clothing, based on what I read from their site. I also read that they change theme every season just like others do. And for this season they have NOSTALGIA. So if you are the basic-tees and jeans type of person, this is something you should consider. This is also for those who are basic-tees and a jacket plus jeans type of person.

One thing I love about their design, the print looks vintage.

These are their four designs for this season. Upon checking them on their website, I noticed that every shirt has a meaning why the print is like that. You better check them out. And just recently, they are now also available for women. So enjoy!
