Since review classes are civilian attires, it's really an opportunity to do outfit shots. But having the time to take photos is hard because of the schedule. That's the reason why I don't blog much about what I wear, I just post them on my instagram @thepaulodiaries hahah.. :D But this one is a special attire. So I really looked for a spare time for me to take some shots of myself. After all, I named this day: Floral Day. Since, I suggested my classmates to wear florals and they did. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take some photos with them.

Anyway, florals are very in these days. It's summer! So, why not? I know it's kinda not good to wear button down's because of the heat I think there's still an exception. As long as you feel comfortable with it and the fabric is not that thick for you to wear under the sun. Thank God, Folded and Hung's floral polo is the one I'm talking about. Of course, you have to pair it with twill shorts from Uniqlo. For me, I played with the colors. Wore with light colored clothes: Light blue and pink. So that even with the summer heat, your outfit will look fresh and it's very pleasing to the eyes. And lastly, just wore my summer-go-to shoes from Native.

Told you that I will keep my blog updated. And here I go again. Who said that printed floral bottoms are not good for men. Well, that's wrong. It's for us men too. As long as you feel comfortable with it and you think that it suits you well... you got it! And with Summer season, I think you are very in just like flowers blossom every Summer.

Aside from that, let me tell you something about the shoes that I'm wearing which is from NATIVE. I think, it's good to invest something with this kind of shoes. Why? Because...it's very light, stylish and of good quality. Another is, when you are out and you are not sure of the weather this will be the kind of you shoes that you will want to wear. For, it's rubber meaning waterproof/water-resistant. No need to worry that your shoes might be broken because of the rain because Native Shoes will help you with that.

I think prints are one of those cool things in high-fashion because it's really catchy in the eyes. But people are having hard times in wearing it with confidence most specially matching it with the right pair. I think what you need to do is:

1.) Know the color. I purely believe that color will help in bringing out the best in what you wear. With a perfect match of colors you can really pull it off. As you can see I paired my black printed polo into my musturd-ish pants.

2.) Assess the print. Of course, you have to be aware of the print in your shirt. If it's too grande don't go for too many stuffs. Make it a little simpler. Balance it.

3.) Wear it with enough confidence and enjoy it.

Colored Pants

I know that we are surrounded with different colors. Just like in fashion industry, colors give variety to a particular cloth, no matter what shade it is. That's why, pants are incorporated with colors. Even before, colored pants have been one of those worn attire because it gives details in what you wear. Even if it is plain jeans, skinny jeans, chinos, slacks, corduroy... any type.

I know you might get the idea and yes I just saw Perks of Being A Wallflower. I read the book years ago and while reading it is indeed an infinite moment. If you haven't read it, you should. And you should also watch the movie. It's amazingly done. It is a must read book. Most specially, to all the teenagers. It will help you grow and give you lessons that someday you will use.

The gradient shirt is not actually like that... I rearrange that shirt by cutting the ends of it. If you want to know more about it then read here.

About the bag, it's from Denim Dimensions. Found out that they are selling real unique good stuffs. So if you are up to something like that you better get your own denimdimensions. Another, it's very affordable, trendy, hip and good quality.

Folded and Hung: PreHoliday Fashion 2012

I've seen a video and some photos of Folded and Hung few days ago which showcases their PreHoliday Fashion. Luckily, I got time to do a blog about it because of school stuffs. So... I was really stunned by what I saw. It's like a local brand that can compete to any other global brands because of what they have in store for you. Well, there's no reason to make doubts about... it's Folded and Hung. And, I know for years they've been making good quality clothes which are trendy, hip and deserves hats off. Moves Like Jagger

In Philippines, the weather is very moody. The month of June must be a rainy weather but most times the heat of the sun is the highest power. It's not good, I know. So for me to be in a cool mode. I've decided to wear my singlet/vest/sando from Folded and Hung. I've always been a fan of Folded and Hung. For me this is one local brand that I can go in and out to always. They have nice cool collections. Then, I paired it with my black carrot cut pants with my Toms shoes. So that I can run or walk freely since I'm going to be the photographer for our project. :P

more fun in the philippines

So I've been a fan of the new slogan for Philippine Tourism and this day while I was looking for clothes to wear found my folded and hung shirt with a Philippine Map on it. Then the slogan popped in to my mind. And poof came with this outfit.

give your heart a break

So my youngest brother and I are bored so we made some photoshoot around our garden. Well actually we went at our Ninong and Ninang's place to visit and bring something. Then we got home early. So to kill time this is what we did.

Then for my attire, I have a topman shirt. It's like a simple striped shirt. I paired it with my vintage-ish pants from folded and hung. Then add up eyeglasses form topman again and my necklace that has a camera pendant which is also vintage looking. Lastly I just wore my boat shoes.
If you are not so into Sando or Vest or Singlets for summer you can have this. Because somehow it is refreshing.
