So my brother just had his graduation as a Flight Attendant at Philippine Airlines. PAL is our country's flag carrier and has been giving us a good service for years. It been months of training for my brother and luckily he passed it. Okay, no need for explanations just look at the pictures. And just so you know, their batch organized the whole event. Everything on it. Props, foods and more...

Of course an event like this comes with an opportunity of an outfit post. For this post, I made it look like a real semi-formal/formal-casual. Formal on top and kinda casual at the bottom. You can do that. It's fun doing experiments and combining stuffs. So here it goes:

Just a quick outfit post again. I know some of you guys know that here in the Philippines we only have two seasons. Sunny or Rainy. And right now, we are on the latter one. I just chose a simple kind of clothes to wear for this kind of weather to make me feel more comfortable. Since, wearing too much over a rainy day will just mess up everything. So here it is....

Rolling in the Deep and Donation

 Today, I had the courage to go out of our unit to see the surroundings. Well, I had the courage because the flood is just ankle-deep infront of our building. So I just wore my combat boots to keep me away from getting wet. Trousers, Simple Tees and Cardigan. Here are the photos of what I'm wearing and the surroundings:

Kill them with a kind heart ft. A&F

It's been such a gloomy day again. The weather is kind of sick like bipolar. Sometimes, it's raining and then there are times that the rain will be out for a sec. So the rain is dominant than the sun. That's why I came up with an idea of what I'm wearing: long sleeves, polo shirt, skinny carrot pants and sneakers. For this outfit, I'm gonna focus on the long sleeves because it gives all of the details what and why I'm wearing this. I got this abroad from Mom and Dad. It's Abercrombie and Fitch. As of now there's no particular store of A&F here in the Philippines and since this is an opportunity... I am asking for a petition of an A&F store here in our country. hahaha... For years, A&F has been making great collections in fashion industry. I know that because my parents always give us my siblings this kind of clothes. Also my uncles and aunts from abroad. It's a good brand because everything on their store is like your everyday-clothes. If you want to see what I mean here are some photos:

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Yes the title has something to do with the movie with the same name. I just watched it, that's one. Second is that, like the boy in the movie exploring and finding out something, I was too. But not in a complicated way like doing maps, plans and other stuffs alike. Instead, looking for the main branches of certain drugstores.

Okay, this is for our thesis. I think I need not to elaborate things about it anymore. Moving on, I just want you to show how I dressed up while exploring the land of Metro Manila just to search for the main offices of the drugstores. Before that, when you know that you'll be in a very long trip, first things first travel light. Wear your most comfy clothes. And bring only those important things that you need inside your bag. Take note again: your bag must be not so heavy.

I hope I made some help and I inspired you guys with this. Then, after those long walks we needed to treat ourselves. Had some snack at J. Co Donuts and Coffee, an Indonesian retail food store specializing at donuts, froyos and coffee making a big buzz in the country.

2 Things

My birthday was May 23 but I just had my birthday celebration with my BOTANERDS. That's what we call our group of friends. Well the word BOTANERDS originated from our 1st year subject BOTANY. For freshmen taking up Pharmacy at UST, it's one of the hardest. Luckily, we made through it.

 I have to edit the pic so that my friend would be part of this. Are my photoshop skills good? hahaha

So together with EM and ARNI, we had our post birthday celebration at an eat-all-you-can resto. They have varieties of foods such us, Japanese, Korean and American. The resto is called SAMBOKOJIN (facebook). I can say that SAMBOKOJIN (website) has great foods and great place. Btw, they have a smokeless grill. Here are some photos from their store.

So now, let's talk about the other thing that's why I named the title two things:

Alter to Fit

I can not fathom the idea of wearing a shirt that is not a perfect fit for me. Then why I bought this? Basically, I asked my friend to buy me clothes from H&M. (This brand has been in stores making good quality clothes and products that promotes customer satisfaction.) So I browsed their website to check which one I should buy. So I chose a couple of clothes. Then send the link to her. The idea is like online shopping.

Maybe others find it not so good because the item that you might get is not the perfect size that you want. That's what happened to this one shirt that my friend bought for me. It appeared longer that we thought. I faced this problem as something to explore to.

This time, is the time for me to experiment more about my clothes. Do some cuttings, and stuffs alike. I got myself a sharp scissors. Cut the lower part for an inch and a half because as I said it's too long. After cutting it, I stretched the fabric to make a detail about the ends of it. What's the detail? The ends curled up. That's a good thing, I think. Then what to do about the part you cut. Again, explore, experiment. In this outfit, I made it as a bracelet.

Who is the TOPMAN?

It's been years that this particular brand I am wearing is making good quality clothes. Quality is indeed a good thing for every product. But Topman does not only go for good quality they root for customer satisfaction. They know what every guy wants to wear. They know what's in and what's out.
