Laid Back (Combinations)

I felt like doing a laid back outfit and tried combining everything from the internet which I think will showcase the whole "laidback" thing. So from a series of googling and browsing. I came up with that photo above. Just your typical casual wear plain simple yet edgy.
  1. Sunglasses from Persol - This will be used for a little more style for the whole outfit.
  2. Vneck from Hollister - The whole idea of going laid back is just wearing something that is not too overdressed-ish look. You just have to go for your plains for your top and the rest will add up for the style.
  3. Ripped jeans from Abercrombie - For me having a little rugged look for a nice clean outfit is a good kick to have the edge of being stylish in a simple way. (Fashion is effortless!)
  4. Hoodie Jacket from H&M - You can wear this in two ways. Wear it as it is but do not zip it or place it on your back while the sleeves extend to the front and tie it loosely.
  5. Bag from Zalora - In case you have stuffs that you need to bring, you don't just grab any kind of bag for a perfect outfit of yours. I think this bag I found is a match for the whole outfit to portray the laid back look.
  6. Boots from Palladium - There are two options for the look but boots is more appropriate than sneakers in this kind of outfit. The idea of cuffing in your pants in the boots is also a nice punch.
  7. BTW, wear some perfume! And I was surprised to find that Zalora has a great selection of beauty products for men.
I hope this one helps if you are having trouble which to wear for today.

I'll be your William, you'll be my Kate.

Shirt with Print | BenchTM
Coat | Markus
Chinos | Cotton On
Belt | SM Accessories
Shoes | SM Men's

I know it took me a while to post what I wore during my testimonial dinner. I'm sorry for that. But I'm proud that somehow, my ideal attire what I should wear to the said event is close from what I have posted before (Previous Post). I just made a few changes for it to look better. Again, I have a few advice for this look:

  1. If your shirt is already with a printed collar, it's very okay not to wear a tie because the tendency is overdressing and we are avoiding that.
  2. The color of your belt is also the color of your shoes
  3. If in my previous post the color of my coat is different with the color of my pants, here is just quite different. My coat and pants may be of different color but still they are on the same shade.

I guess that's it. The only important thing is that you should be comfortable with what you are wearing so that you can pull it off perfectly.

I am PAULO and we'll be living like a fairytale.

Don't be Afraid to Make Mistakes

I know I broke my promise about being very updated on my blog. But due to my busy schedule at school since we are preparing for our Pharmacy Week, I have failed to do so. But keep posted guys, will be blogging new posts one of these days or maybe later about what happened during the PharmaWeek.

So this attire that I'm wearing is the one I wore to one of the events in our PharmaWeek which is the Variety Show wherein you get to watch your professors perform on stage which shows their other side. Back to the topic, I had a plaid button down Topman Polo paired with my plain jeans. Then I put on a wood colored belt, I dunno what's the brand. For my shoes, I chose to wear my WADE. It's kind of old. But WADE shoes are strong enough to last for years, I guess. Not only that, they showcase cool and trendy designs for male and female. I guess if you are looking for a local shoe brand that sells shoes for formal, casual, dapper or whatsoever attire, they have it in a very affordable price. Mind you, they also have bags and accessories.

I am PAULO and it's OKAY to make MISTAKES.

Dusk is just an Illusion

As I've said on my previous entry, burgundy is my new favorite color that's why I made this look. That pants is from BenchTM. Yes, bench is good local brand that also create fashionable clothes just like others with a very reasonable price. And of course, if I have my favorite color on this look, I should also put my favorite... H&M. A colorful striped tank top is best to fit in this pants and a very humid weather. A little compliment for H&M, I think they know what's best for us customers because they know what style to sell and what fashion is in. Nice huh?! Then my shoes from Sebago and accessories from Aldo and SM Accessories.

I am PAULO and this is not an illusion.

Your hand fits in mine

I only have few pictures of this outfit post of mine because I was kind of busy with the event I'm with. I'm wearing shorts for a change since, it's been a while since you last saw me on my shorts (Penshoppe). I paired it with polo (Old Navy) since I'm on a gathering to make it a little casual looking. Just so you know guys, old navy is one brand from other country that I've grown with. My aunties and uncles used to give us clothes with this brand. So I know that this brand is of good quality and very comfortable. I can go with this as my everyday clothes. They may not be too stylish yet not out of fashion. Then lastly a very comfy shoes which is from Sperry. When it comes to boat shoes, sperry is the one you should look on. They make those in-style shoes that fits well on your feet with a bonus of no-pain-even-without-socks-on-it. Oh! I added also some bracelets (SM Accessories) so that the whole look won't look plain.

Here's the look, enjoy! Don't forget to hype... :D

For other brands named in this posts that I did not make comments with... I already did just browse my blog. It's there. Hope you like it. :D

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Yes the title has something to do with the movie with the same name. I just watched it, that's one. Second is that, like the boy in the movie exploring and finding out something, I was too. But not in a complicated way like doing maps, plans and other stuffs alike. Instead, looking for the main branches of certain drugstores.

Okay, this is for our thesis. I think I need not to elaborate things about it anymore. Moving on, I just want you to show how I dressed up while exploring the land of Metro Manila just to search for the main offices of the drugstores. Before that, when you know that you'll be in a very long trip, first things first travel light. Wear your most comfy clothes. And bring only those important things that you need inside your bag. Take note again: your bag must be not so heavy.

Wearing a checkered red and white polo. Singlet inside from Penshoppe, Skinny Pants, Boat Shoes and Gaff bag from Flying Dutchman

I hope I made some help and I inspired you guys with this. Then, after those long walks we needed to treat ourselves. Had some snack at J. Co Donuts and Coffee, an Indonesian retail food store specializing at donuts, froyos and coffee making a big buzz in the country.
