Shirt | H&M
Tie | SM Accessories
Coat | Tailored at HIM
Slacks | SM Mens
Socks | Topman
Shoes | Aldo

If you've been reading my previous blog post, I'm guessing you already know why I'm wearing something like this. Yes, it's for the OathTaking of the New Pharmacists of the Philippines. For my attire, I went for the kill of being a dapper one plus a Robin Thicke look from the MV Blurred Lines. I have a few advice for this look:
  1. The color of your belt is the color of your shoes
  2. The color of your tie is the color of your socks
It's good to play with colors just like what I did from gray to black to white to burgundy. It's okay if your coat and slacks are not of the same color just make it sure that they look good together. And one thing I would stress out in wearing coats, it should be a perfect fit.

UST Testimonial Dinner Attire Idea

After Oath Taking, the next day UST will be having Testimonial Dinner for their newly Registered Pharmacist. I'm happy and I feel great to be one of the passers. With the said event, of course there will be a different kind of attire. It was announced that it will be Semiformal but others said it's Smart Attire. So I guess I'm kinda breaking it with what I came up with. For my top, plain light colored shirt with printed collar for a change paired with a green chinos if not chinos I think I'd go for dark colored slacks. Then some vintage accessories like the braided rope belt and the vintage leather watch. Lastly, I think dessert shoes will do good but loafers will do it best!

Oath Taking Attire Idea

So Monday will be my Oath Taking for being a newly Registered Pharmacist. And now I'm storming my mind with ideas on what I should wear and I came up with the picture above. It's a business attire event and I'm think what I compiled over the internet is a good combination. I chose to wear long sleeves polo topped with blazer and I think it's okay not to wear a neck/bow tie. Then I paired it with a purple chinos for a change rather than slacks since I'm think after the said event there will be a celebration with friends. To add definition with the attire I think it will be nice to wear a braided brown rope belt and a vintage watch either silver or gold. Lastly for the shoes, just a nice leather pair will do.

Dusk is just an Illusion

As I've said on my previous entry, burgundy is my new favorite color that's why I made this look. That pants is from BenchTM. Yes, bench is good local brand that also create fashionable clothes just like others with a very reasonable price. And of course, if I have my favorite color on this look, I should also put my favorite... H&M. A colorful striped tank top is best to fit in this pants and a very humid weather. A little compliment for H&M, I think they know what's best for us customers because they know what style to sell and what fashion is in. Nice huh?! Then my shoes from Sebago and accessories from Aldo and SM Accessories.

I am PAULO and this is not an illusion.

ALDOmazing!

June had been a rainy month. In that case, my school leather shoes is on the grave of giving up due to the drops of rain, an inch flood and some things related. Well, it's not that broken yet. But it's better to be ready so I bought a new school shoes.

I know there are a lot of good leather school shoes, local or not. But with my likes, I want it to be trendy and classy. I want it not to be just an ordinary school shoes I want it to be like a shoes that I can wear in a ball or something else. Trendy and classy are not only the options that I'm into when choosing such. It has to be comfy also. ALDO is one brand that has what I'm pertaining to and with a bonus of good quality. What I like most is that once you put your feet inside, it's very soft. Btw, they do not only make leather shoes, they also make different styles of shoes and others like accessories.

Oh! before I forget they are on SALE up to 50% off as far as I remembered.

I am PAULO and this is ALDOmazing!!!
