Looking for Laptop

I'm back! But I dunno if I'd be as updated as before. The reason is someone got in our place and stole my laptop. And now, I'm just using my sister's. That's why, the title of this blog post is "Looking for Laptop". This is for me and for those who are looking as well since classes are now about to start so students must be looking for one to. I've already made some choices and still there's a lot. So I'm going to share it to you guys so that this thing will help you choose as well.

First is the new MacBook.

Pro or Air? Any of the two! Both are amazing products. They may be pricey but they will give you the elegance, speed, style and the thing that your are needing for a laptop. Also, retina or not, you will get the MacBook experience you are looking for.

Second is HP.

There are a lot of choices for HP. Pavilion, Envy, or just HP. For me I've choses Pavilion Touch Snart and Envy dv6t. For Pavilion TouchSmart, it's really a smart laptop. You get the experience of an ordinary laptop at the sametime the experience of touchscreen one like a tablet. Since it's running in Windows 8 I guess, it's really a must to get the touch one. Then for Envy dv6t, it's the laptop the you should get envious of: this is the one for you if you are into your research, games, movies and music.

Third is the Sony Vaio. You can choose between E or T series. Again, both are amazing products. The only difference is T has the touchscreen thingy.

BB is back

Someone is making a big comeback. And I think it will kick some ass once it's out. So guys you have to mark your calendar particularly on January 30, 2013 that's on Wednesday to be part of the "Re-designed. Re-engineered. Re-invented" market for Blackberry 10. There are a lot of specifications to watch for and they've made a preview of a few that is very tempting to buy. You can watch it here and go to their channel to view more:



So how was it? New system, new keyboard, new camera, new design and I bet there still a lot...

Aside from being an Apple, Sony and Samsung fan, I am a Blackberry fan too. Am just very open on what all these products have to offer. After all, they are same smartphones with different innovations.

Surface

Talking about real innovative ideas, I guess this product is the real deal when it comes to that. This is an upcoming tablet made by Microsoft and I'm guessing this will kick asses once it's out. Looking at it's design, it's sleek, beautifully designed and very portable. You can carry it anywhere you want to go. And for me as a blogger, carrying a tablet like this with a very thin keyboard which also serves as a cover is a great deal because you can create your posts anywhere you want with a real keyboard. Not only for blogging, I think it will help us students as well. No need to carry your bulky laptops, with just Surface, I think this will do most specially in your MS Office-related works/reports/projects. So this Surface will be out into two versions: Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro. Cool huh?!

100th post for SAMSUNG S3 Giveaway

As you may know, my previous post is about the S3 and this one also is about it. Yes it's kind of a giveaway but I am not the one who's giving it away. It's from Samsung Mobile Philippines. They are launching their two new colors which is Titanium Grey and Garnet Red. I think both colors are great but I'd rather have the Titanium Gray.

Galaxy SIII

So it's been months of smartphone wars. And most brands have already showed what they've got. And for this month it's been a great war over iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3. So my friend has Galaxy S3 and I happened to borrow it so that I can check what it has to offer. I was amazed by how smart that phone can be and how great it is. That's why when I got back home, I searched through the web to check on some videos and found their new commercials about Samsung Galaxy S3 (link). The clips show what this smart phone can do and it has a lot, mind you. I think I'm running out of words to tell about this phone. But I think I can recommend this phone for everyone since it has a lot of things that you might need in a single phone. I also think as a student this phone will help you a lot like: communicating device, projects (MS Office), Entertainment, Social life and a good camera phone. Lastly, it can multitask which I think is a great feature.

I know you that you want me to make an opinion about this vs iPhone 5. Well for me, you can have any. And, iPhone 5 is something that is something. I'll just make a post about iPhone 5 soon.

Extraordinary Xperias

It's been a while since I last made a gadget post. To make up for those spaces here's a review about one of the most talked about smartphones today in the Philippines. It's the new Xperia Go and Acro S. As we all know, you can put a lot of trust in Sony for they make a good and high quality products that customers will surely enjoy and will surely feel satisfied. And here they go again, proving their worth. If you are the clumsy type guy who uses phone a lot or you a phone that will last for years. Here's the one for you. Dust, scratch and water-resistant. But that's not only what they have. It's just the exterior. For the interior, it's an android phone meaning it's an awesome gadget too packed with several features that one might need for a phone. So what are you waiting for grab one now. I know I may sound excited and yes I don't own any of these but seeing it, reading the reviews about it and trying it. I can say that this is worth it.

iPod Touch 5

iPhone 5 is not the only one making a big buzz today and yesterday. iPod Touch 5 too. It's because of it's newest design and upgraded features. I think, it made a big jump compared to the previous one. Why? It showcases: 4-inch Retina Display, 5mp iSight Camera, iOS6, EarPods, and Dual-core A5 chip. Also, it comes with Siri. Lastly, it comes with different colors. See the big difference. I'm loving this. If I could swap my iPod Touch 4thGen, I think I will do it.

Hopefully it will be available here in the Philippines SOON. I think it will help us be updated to visit the nearest POWERMAC CENTER around you to ask for more details. And also, hoping that it's available for Swap. :D

BOOMPHONES

Music has been in this world for ages. And sharing it to others is fun. Either, you enjoy the loud music or be sentimental together. But sometimes you only have one pair of earphones for your device. Isn't it tiring to share it with just one ear? Since we are now in a modern world, there is a solution to that problem. It's called BOOMPHONES. Transforming your earphones into a very portable boombox. This idea of having earphones and boombox/speaker into one rocks! For me this is the new Beats in town. Bow down to Boomphones.

And oh, I learned about this device because of CIMORELLI from youtube. Let me just say something about them. I am a big fan. They've been making great covers and most of the times theirs are better than the original.

Promising Laptop for Student Blogger

Before I was so mesmerized by HP Envy 4t but when I saw HP ENVY 6z, I had my second thoughts. Not because it's cheaper (well, that's one factor also) than HP Envy 4t which I also made a review about (click here) but because it's whole specifications. One is it runs faster compared to it. But, let us get to the part where in, why the title says "Promising Laptop for Student Blogger". Here's the deal, it's thin, portable, classy-looking, student-friendly, and it's ENVY. (and btw I think it has a pre-installed adobe and MS Office which is a very good thing)

HP Envy 4t series

So I lied. I said I'd be having my next review of laptop for Mac but looks like I will not. Maybe next time. What stopped me from doing so? The new HP Envy 4t series.
I know my last post is bout the HP Envy 15 and this one is also but a different version. A better one I think (for me). HP came up with an ultra light (4lb/1.75kg) Envy that they call 4t series. It is also named as HP Envy Sleekbook because of it's thinness (19.8 mm) ).And a 14" (diagonal) Brightview high-definition LED screen plus a bonus of Beats speakers.
Based on its design: more elegant than the Envy 15 because of its midnight black or natural silver metallic design with a velvety red color on the side and take note a slip-resistant base.
Why this? For me it's student-friendly and blogger-friendly due to the fact that it is thin and light wherein you can place it inside your bag in an instant. In short very portable for me.
If you have read my previews post both almost have the same qualities but again I like this better.
Pricewise: affordable for this kind: based on HP Website starting at $599.99.
